To achieve the best fitting lens in any frame, there is no doubt that the best method is to accurately cut each glass lens to fit each frame.

And we at Barberini perform this process directly in our factory, using a system geared towards large scale production of lenses and assembly into frames. We ask our customers to send us frames, organized into production lots for which our technicians, using all their experience, then determine the exact lens size and shape that will match the frames best and allow a correct lens insertion. While this system produces an excellent frame-to-lens fit we don't perform final adjustment of the finished spectacle, because we believe that this should always be carried out by the sunglass frame manufacturers themselves who best know their own unique production procedures.
